Bloemfontein Celtic coach Luc Eymael says he is unhappy with the way Polokwane City management treated him at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday. The Belgian coach was apparently not allowed to enter the stadium dressing rooms by the hosts, who happens to be his former employers. A pending case with the PSL DRC has seen City block their former coach from being a registered member of the Celtic technical team, but Eymael believes he was still within his rights to be in the team's dressing room. "They [City management] wanted me not to enter the change rooms," Eymael tells KickOff.com. "It happened two times.

"First before the kick-off and secondly at the half-time break. Although the PSL made it clear that I'm allowed to go into the dressing rooms, it's not good for the clubs and for the image of the PSL. This way it's no more football, but war." Despite the bad treatment Eymael was subjected to yesterday, he says he still enjoys a good relationship with some of the people at Rise and Shine. "I did receive messages of congratulations from some people at Polokwane City and from the players there. You know, it's not because of the players that I left," he adds.

While admitting his satisfaction as picking up a crucial three points for Phunya Sele Sele, Eymael describes Celtic's victory as a lucky escape. "A lucky win, but God was in control. My boys did everything in their power to win that game," he claims. "But Polokwane played very well I must be honest, but I 'm also proud of the dedication shown by my players. Despite everything that was happening yesterday, the players from both sides showed a very good spirit." Eymael, meanwhile, admit there's still plenty to do in order for his Free State-based side to avoid relegation. "I'm happy about the win. Two games in a row we didn't concede and that's a good thing. Yesterday's win was just a good step forward," he says.
