Lucas Hernandez always delivers against Barcelona

5 months from now  Raphael   Sport News

Diego Simeone has placed his trust in Lucas Hernandez so far this season, with the youth teamer having played more minutes than any other defender.
It remains to be seen exactly what the Argentine coach's lineup will look like when Barcelona visit Atletico Madrid this Saturday evening, but if Lucas does start again then another excellent performance should be expected, at least going by his previous battles with the Blaugrana.
The 21-year-old has faced the Catalan club on three occasions and each time he has played well.
His first clash with Barcelona came in the Champions League quarter-finals of 2015/16, when he performed well as the 10 men from the capital went down 2-1 at the Camp Nou, a result that ultimately proved sufficient to progress.
That's because they won the second leg 2-0, with Lucas again playing in central defence, earning a curial clean sheet alongside Diego Godin.
The only other time that Lucas has taken on the Blaugrana was in last season's Copa del Rey, when he replaced the injured Godin and kept Barcelona's star-studded attack out for the time he was on the pitch.
This weekend's match will, therefore, be Lucas' fourth meeting with Lionel Messi and co. and he'll be desperate to deliver once again.
