There is a piece of bad news for Chelsea as their Premier League rivals Manchester United have sealed deal with their top transfer target Moussa Dembele.
According to reports in Express,Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side have reportedly sealed a £61.8 million total agreement for the Lyon striker. Chelsea were thought to be leading the race for the Frenchman but new reports says otherwise.
Solskjaer has been on the hunt for a new front-man in the summer transfer window as he seeks a permanent replacement for Belgian international Romelu Lukaku, who left United for Serie A side Inter Milan last summer. Chelsea are also interested in Dembele but have reportedly been beaten to the punch.
Manchester United are set to pay a whooping sum of £61.8 million (€70m) for the Frenchman, who has been in a blistering form since joining Lyon from `Celtic in 2018, scoring 42 goals in 88 appearances for the Ligue 1 side.
