Manchester United are closing on a deal for Villarreal prospect Adrian Corral. Super Deporte says the 16-year-old is on the brink of moving to Old Trafford from Villarreal. Corral has apparently told the La Liga giants he will not be penning his professional contract with them.
And it appears he will be going to United to continue his development at the academy run by Nicky Butt. However, the Red Devils will have to pay compensation for Corral, who has spent the last four years at Villarreal. He is a versatile centre-back who can also play at left-back.
