Manchester United may wait until later this summer to resume talks with Real Madrid for James Rodriguez. Diario Gol says Madrid are hoping to recoup close to the £65million they paid Monaco for Rodriguez in 2014.
But so far, none of Europe's elite are willing to match Madrid's valuation. To try and force through a move to United, Rodriguez is threatening to stay at the Bernabeu.
Other options are fading for the Colombia star, and only a switch to United interests him. As a result, Manchester United could benefit if they remain patient this summer.
