Four-time Premier League winner with Manchester United, Gary Pallister blast Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku for his comment about joining Serie A giants Juventus and tagged it as ‘disrespectful’ to the club.
Lukaku joined United in 2017 in a £75 million (€85m/$98m) deal, and has since scored 31 goals in 62 games for the club. The Belgium international has already netted four times in eight games this season.
The Belgian is one of a number of United players who have struggled for form this season, scoring just four goals in 11 appearances.
And when asked by Gazzetta dello Sport about the possibility of joining Italian giants Juve during the international break, he replied: “Why not? I hope it happens.
“Juve have a great project in place and they just keep going. Every year they try to get stronger. “Without a doubt, Juve are one of the two-three best teams in Europe. “They’ve got a great coach on the bench and extraordinary players in every area of the team.”
But his comments have not gone down well with the legendary four-time Premier League winner Gary Pallister, speaking exclusively to 888sport, who believes the player has mad a big mistake.
He said: “I think it’s disrespectful at times if you start mentioning other clubs when you’re actually contracted to the club you’re at.
