Crystal Palace positioned themselves into a 2-0 lead at home to Manchester United on Monday night, but the Red Devils produced a thrilling second half comeback to take all three points back to Old Trafford, with Nemanja Matic's winner coming in stoppage time.
It was Andros Townsend who had opened the scoring, beating David de Gea with the help of a deflection in the 11th minute, before Patrick van Aanholt added a second just three minutes into the second half, capitalising on a quick free-kick. Jose Mourinho's men didn't give up, though.
First, they pulled one goal back in the 55th minute when Chris Smalling headed an Antonio Valencia cross past Wayne Hennessey. Then Romelu Lukaku squeezed the ball in for an equaliser with 15 minutes to go.
All of a sudden, the momentum was with the visitors and Matic grabbed the dramatic late winner, putting his laces through a bouncing ball.
