It wasn't Paris Saint-Germain's night on Sunday as Kylian Mbappe was stretchered off in their 2-1 defeat away to Lyon.

The French striker had already taken a hit to the top of his head in the first-half when he clattered into the opposition goalkeeper as they chased a high ball.

Having been wiped out by Anthony Lopes, Mbappe was thankfully conscious and attempted to walk off the pitch after receiving treatment, but was instead taken away on a stretcher.

PSG doctor Eric Rolland confirmed to Canal+ that the youngster was fine in the immediate aftermath, claiming: "It is nothing serious."
