Barcelona had the MSN front three last season and lost a key part of it last summer with Neymar's move to Paris Saint-Germain, but the MS front two of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez has been very effective too.

In fact, they've been so good that they already have 42 league goals - 22 for the Argentine and 20 for the Uruguayan - between them in the 2017/18 season, which is more than 74 clubs in the top five European leagues have managed between all of their players. 

Included in that number is Atletico Madrid, who are second behind Barcelona in LaLiga, but who have only scored 41 times.

The only Spanish sides that have scored more than the Messi and Suarez duo are Real Madrid, Valencia, Real Betis, Celta Vigo and Real Sociedad, which is really quite incredible. 

As for the English teams, only Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal have scored more than the two South American forwards.
