Sevilla may feel that they could have come away from their draw with Manchester United with a goal to show for their efforts after dominating at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Coach Vincenzo Montella expressed his feeling that the side deserved a goal for the chances they created.
"The team created enough chances to score a goal or two," he expressed after the match, speaking to beIN SPORTS."It's a shame, but we have to be happy with the game.
"Everything is open with the 0-0 and we will see in 15 days what will happen."Now we have to focus on Atletico Madrid."
The Italian praised the opposition goalkeeper, as David de Gea had denied his forwards time and time again.
"He was fabulous," the coach said."I haven't seen the replays, but I think he was superb."
The Spanish No.1 was tested by the fast flowing attacking play of the LaLiga team, who played according to Montella's game plan.
"You can't play at that speed the whole game," the coach explained."The team played intelligently and patiently, although sometimes they should have played quicker."We were always focused on the game."
Ahead of the second leg, Montella refused to rule his side out of the tie, despite Manchester United taking a level result back to their home turf.
"Sevilla always have to play to score to be better than the opposition, but it isn't always possible," he said."We have to try."The second leg will take place on March 13.
