Jose Mourinho said he won't stand in Zlatan Ibrahimovic's way should he wish to leave Manchester United following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez.

After returning from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury, Ibrahimovic has barely featured for United with his only goal coming in a Carabao Cup defeat to Bristol City.

"If it's true and Zlatan wants to go to another country, I won't make life difficult for him," he explained in a pre-match press conference.

"He has never mentioned it to me, but he is in the last year of his contract.

"I will help him create the conditions for the move to happen, the only thing I know is that he told me he wanted to recover and then help the team."
