Mourinho: Pogba will never be my captain at Manchester United again

Manchester United lost to Derby County on penalties on Tuesday in the third round of Carabao cup. The Rams new manager Frank Lampard defeat his former manager during is football days at Old Trafford.
Mourinho said he was unhappy with some members of his squad.
"[The game against Wolves was] an important lesson; a lesson that I repeat week after week after week, a lesson that some boys are not learning," he said.
"Every team that play Manchester United are playing the game of their lives, and we need to match that level of aggression, motivation and desire - 95% isn't enough when others give 101%."
It was revealed by a reliable source from Manchester United training camp that Jose Mourinho revealed before the match that current captain of the side in the absence of Antonio Valencia, Paul Pogba will not captain the side again.
A Carrington source said: “José Mourinho told the players that Paul Pogba will not be the captain because he doesn’t represent what a captain is and Manchester United is bigger than anyone.
“The players were happy with that decision and the reasons behind the manager’s decision.”
The £89million player was dropped from the squad for that lost against Derby County at Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup. This will cast even more doubt over Pogba’s future at the club with Barcelona and Juventus reportedly showing interest in his services during the summer.
However, United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward – who is also at loggerheads with Mourinho – has vowed to keep the 25-year-old.
