Mourinho's United adventure turning into a nightmare

In just eight days the balance of power has tipped dramatically against Jose Mourinho as Manchester United labour to a series of defeats.
Watford have joined Feyenoord and Manchester City in overcoming the Red Devils, with the latter accelerating away at the top of the Premier League table as a result.
"We have to improve, collectively and individually," the Portuguese coach told the press after falling 3-1 to the Hornets. "I worry when we don't get the results we want."
Mourinho's worst runs
Porto 2002: Three defeats (1-0 Real Madrid, 2-3 Beira Mar, 1-2 Real Madrid)
Chelsea 2006: Three defeats (1-0 Newcastle, 1-0 Blackburn, 1-2 Liverpool)
Manchester United 2016: Three defeats (1-2 City, 1-0 Feyenoord, 3-1 Watford)
It's the first time since 2002 that Mourinho has lost three matches in a row during the same season, as happened back at Porto when Real Madrid dealt the Dragoes a duo of Champions League defeats either side of Beira Mar claiming a 3-2 win.
Across the summer of 2006, Chelsea fell three times in a row as Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers scored 1-0 victories in May before the 2-1 Community Shield defeat to Liverpool ahead of the 2006/07 campaign..

However, it is the current run of form for both club and coach that will worry the United faithful.
Last 32 games (United & Chelsea):
W13 / D5 / L14
Sacked by the Stamford Bridge club after a bad run in 2015, his combined results for Chelsea and Manchester United over the last 32 games read as; won 13, drawn 5, lost 14.
Of course, Old Trafford has yet to see a true successor to Sir Alex Ferguson, after a number of years outside the title race under David Moyes and Louis Van Gaal, meaning if Mourinho struggles to reverse his fortunes, serious questions will be posed further upstairs at the Theatre of Dreams.
