Liverpool have rejected an £11m offer from Napoli for out of favour left-back Alberto Moreno, reports Liverpool Echo. Moreno is free to leave Liverpool this summer after making no impression under Jurgen Klopp but the Premier League giants are holding out for £15m for the left-back.
Liverpool paid £12m to sign Moreno from Sevilla three years ago and they are hopeful of making a slight profit on the 24-year-old despite the fact his reputation has taken a real hit during his time in England.
Sevilla are one of the clubs interested in their former player but Napoli are the only side that have lodged a formal bid for the speedy defender, although they will need to increase their offer to have any chance of securing his signature.
Moreno only started two games in the Premier League last season after losing his place at left-back to James Milner after the 31-year-old was converted into a defender by Klopp.
