New doubts emerge about Hazard's future at Chelsea

1 month ago  Raphael   Sport News

Over the past few weeks, Chelsea superstar, Eden Hazard, seems to have put his doubters to bed with some spectacularly dazzling performances. In fact, there’s hardly a doubt anymore that the Belgian is currently the best player in the Premier League.
Rewind to a few weeks before the start of the season. At the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Hazard was in electrifying touch as he helped Belgium reach the semi-finals of the grand event, scoring 3 goals and assisting 2 more in just 6 appearances.
At Chelsea, after being plagued by inconsistency, Hazard’s true potential finally seems to be coming to the fore under the able tutelage of the new manager, Maurizio Sarri.
In 7 league games thus far, Hazard has scored 6 goals and assisted 2 more, and currently leads the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.
Now, Hazard has repeatedly expressed his desire to play for Real Madrid one day, and Los Blancos have also made no secret of their admiration and fondness for Hazard.
Hazard was less than convincing when asked about his future at the club and said that while he is happy now, it could soon change. The Belgium international has continually been linked with a move away but appears t have a good relationship with new coach Sarri.
"At the moment I am okay but in two months it could be different," he explained.
"I will keep training on the pitch and we will see what happens, if I score then it is fine, if I don't but I play well then that for me is fine, I only need to keep winning games."
Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard also revealed the best players in the EPL. He said that Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and N’Golo Kante are the four best players in the Premier League.
Liverpool superstar, Salah has endured a slow start to the new season but was on fire last season, winning the PFA Player of the Year award after netting 44 goals for the Reds.
He defeated Manchester City’s star midfielder, De Bruyne to the award, despite the Belgian playing a huge role in Pep Guardiola’s stunning title triumph at the Etihad.
Another key player for City last season was Argentine striker Aguero, who has scored 148 Premier League goals for the City.
Hazard has rated the Argentine as one of the best in the league and also believes fellow teammate, Kante deserves more credit.
When asked to name the best player in the Premier League, Hazard was too modest to name himself but told SPORTbible: “What for you is the best player?
“Maybe for you it’s people who score more goals, another one is not thinking about that. At the moment I’m good, if I’m the best, fine, If I’m not I don’t care.
“In the Premier League we have a lot of top players. [Sergio] Aguero is one of the best, [Kevin] De Bruyne is injured but he’s one of the best.
“Mo Salah was the best last year, N’Golo [Kante] in the team is one of the best so we have a lot of good players.”
