Newcastle United remain confident of signing Arsenal striker Lucas Perez. The Daily Mail says Perez could yet remain in the Premier League.
Perez has appeared destined for a return to Deportivo La Coruna after talks between the two clubs were instigated by the Spanish club.
But Newcastle have now asked about his availability, with Arsenal valuing him around £13million.
