Oblak posting great numbers in Europe

On the back of a superlative LaLiga campaign last season, Jan Oblak is also finding unprecedented success when defending Atletico Madrid's goal in Champions League matches.
Ever since the top European club tournament adopted its current format back in 1992/93, no other goalkeeper has been able to prevent goals at a similar rate as the Slovenian phenomenon.
The statistics compiled by star stoppers such as Sebastiano Rossi, Dida, Iker Casillas, Keylor Navas, Cesar Sanchez, Bodo Illgner, Edwin Van der Sar, Victor Valdes, Gianluigi Buffon, Manuel Neuer, Thibaut Courtois or David de Gea pale in comparison to those amassed by Oblak.
In 25 Champions League appearances, the 24-year-old has let in only 14 goals, adding up to a measly 0.56 goals per match. Who would have thought that when he was beaten three times by Olympiacos in his debut?
However, he managed to keep a clean sheet in 16 out of the following 24 contests, which means he has conceded no goals in 64 percent of his appearances; clearly better than Rossi (53%), Van der Sar (53%) and Navas (52%).
