Chelsea young star, Jacob Maddox left the club for Tranmere on a season long loan. The 20-year-old Maddox played last season on loan at Cheltenham Town. Maddox, who joined Chelsea as a 14-year old, won back-to-back FA Youth Cups as well as the UEFA Youth League during his time playing for the club’s Academy teams.
A statement on the club’s official website said, “Jacob Maddox has today joined Tranmere Rovers on loan for the 2019/20 season. The midfielder, 20, spent last season in League Two at Cheltenham Town, where he made 44 appearances. In January.
