With the transfer windows closed in England, Manchester United have confirmed the departure of three of their promising players, according to the Red Devils official website. The club released an official statement for each player to announce their loan deal.
The first player is George Tanner who joined Morecambe on loan.
"We can confirm that Manchester United defender George Tanner will spend the 2019/20 season on loan at Morecambe. The 19-year-old has made the temporary move to the League Two club to gain invaluable experience of first-team football.
"The full-back broke into the Under-18 team, making 27 appearances in 2016/17 and a further 20 in all competitions in 2017/18. He made more progress last season as he racked up 20 outings in all for the Under-23s. Everyone at United wishes George well as he continues his development during his loan spell at the Globe Arena."
The second player is Aidan Barlow who moved outside England to join Norwegian side Tromso.
"Manchester United midfielder Aidan Barlow has joined Norwegian outfit Tromso on loan until December 2019. The 19-year-old made his debut in the United Academy as a schoolboy in 2014/15 and has since made real progress, including representing England’s Under-17s.
"Despite being hampered by injury, the local lad scored seven goals in 17 appearances in 2017/18, which helped the club claim the Under-18 Premier League Northern Division title. He gained further experience in the UEFA Youth League and Under-23s last term, making 16 appearances and scoring one goal – the winner at Norwich City – before the club extended his contract earlier this summer.
"Everyone at United wishes Aidan well during his time in Norway."
The third player is Joel Pereira who joined Scottish side Hearts on loan.
"Manchester United keeper Joel Pereira has joined Hearts on loan for the rest of the 2019/20 season, with the move subject to international clearance. The 23-year-old is to spend the campaign in Scotland in order to hopefully obtain regular first-team football and continue his development between the posts.
"It is the fifth loan move of his career, following spells with Rochdale, Belenenses, Vitoria Setubal and Kortrijk. United defender Demi Mitchell has benefited from two stints with the Tynecastle outfit, working under manager Craig Levein, and it is hoped Joel will also prove a success in Edinburgh.
"The keeper was part of the Reds' Tour 2019 squad and appeared in the 2-0 victory over Perth Glory, before facing Leeds United in the 4-0 win in Australia. The latest deal means United now have four keepers out on loan - after Alex Fojticek (Stalybridge Celtic), Dean Henderson (Sheffield United) and Kieran O'Hara (Burton Albion) agreed temporary transfers during the English transfer window."
