Torres joins Sagan Tosu

Fernando Torres has followed the footsteps of fellow countryman Andres Iniesta by moving to Japanese J1 league after illustrious years with Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea and AC Milan.

He revealed on Tuesday morning that he will play his football for Sagan Tosu. Torres also explained why it took time for him to reveal his move to the Japanese side.

"I wanted to enjoy my final few days at Atletico Madrid and to have time to reflect on what was the best for me and my family," he said, explaining the delay in confirming his future plans.
