Fortuna Sittard manager Sunday Oliseh insists his team's performance against Dutch fourth-tier club SV Meerssen was impressive despite playing a 2-2 draw in a friendly game on  Tuesday. Sjoerd Ars and Jorrit Smeets were on target for Fortuna Sittard as they came back from two goals to earn a draw. The Nigerian coach was also pleased to see his new arrivals get some minutes in the encounter ahead of Friday's Dutch second division league clash at home against Telstar at the Fortuna Sittard Stadium.

"It was good game and I'm pleased that everyone could play football for 45 minutes," Oliseh told the club's website after the game.  "We need this test game to keep us in good shape for the next game." Oliseh is confident his side can still finish in the top half of the Dutch second division log if they take their chances.
