Barcelona make a late approach to sign Malcom from Bordeaux after the club and the player have agreed a deal with AS Roma, the scenario didn’t go down well with their President James Pallotta, who believes the Catalan club acted unethically.

The Italian club President was able to make a joke out of the situation when explaining what he feels about the matter, by suggesting he'd forgive the LaLiga champions if they were to send Lionel Messi in return.

"Barcelona apologised to us, but I didn't accept their apologies," he reportedly said in a radio interview. "The only way to accept them is if they decide to give us Messi.

"Barcelona intervened in an unethical way."Monchi was in a conference call with [Malcom's] agent and an agreement was made.

"We've now received legal advice and it seems Bordeaux will be called to testify."
