Pandev exposes Inter's flaws at Genoa

1 day from now  Raphael   Sport News

Stefano Pioli will have been deeply unhappy with his Inter side's performance at Genoa, Goran Pandev's goal sealing the points for the 16th-placed hosts.
Despite having the bulk of the possession, Inter's output was poor and was matched by a team scrapping for their Serie A lives.
Pandev's 70th minute opener seemed to spark the visitors into life and though Mauro Icardi and Eder were immediately taken off, the visitors at least began to show some more urgency.
A penalty given as the clock hit 87 minutes looked to have got the Nerazzurri out of trouble, but Antonio Candreva could only find Genoa keeper Eugenio Lamanna with his effort.
An immediate red card for Inter's Geoffry Kondogbia only compounded the visitors misery on a day to forget.
