According to reports in Futaa, Ghanaian star Thomas Partey of Laliga’s Atletico Madrid has bought Spanish third division club Alcobendas Sport. The 26-year-old Partey has partnered with three of his Spanish financial advisers to invest in the Madrid-based club.
"I have joined three of my advisers who are also my good friends for us to takeover Alcobendas Sport to make it one of the great clubs in Spain," Partey confirmed to Ghanasoccernet today.
"It is an ambitious project but we have put together our plans of making it a success through a gradual process of growing Alcobendas Sport from the ground - up,” added the Krobo Odumasi-born player.
Meanwhile, Partey will be back on the pitch this weekend when Atletico visit Real Sociedad in a Laliga clash on Saturday.
