Pekerman rift with Real Madrid over James Rodriguez widens
After a summer of back and forths between Colombia coach Jose Pekerman and Real Madrid, another episode has frustrated Los Blancos, with James Rodriguez travelling back to Europe later than his other club teammates, so much so that it could cause him to miss Saturday's clash against Osasuna due to time missed back at training.
After a 2-1 defeat to Brazil, Rodriguez was supposed to meet up with club teammates Marcelo and Casemiro to get in on Wednesday morning, which meant he could be ready to train on Thursday.
The Colombian, however, returned a day later and thus won't train until Friday, making an appearance on Saturday's game more unlikely.
In June, the attacking midfielder's injury and how it was managed already caused a rift between club and country.
