The English Premier League winning coach Pep Guardiola was relaxing at a golf tournament at Caldes de Malavella in Girona, where he discussed some footballing issues with the reporters.
He discussed Zidane's departure from Los Blancos and whether there were any similarities with his own Barcelona exit.
"We didn't win three Champions Leagues in a row [when I left] so I'm not the one to judge the reasons," Guardiola said. "What they have done deserved praise. "Coaches usually leave clubs due to bad results so it is unusual what he has done. "Are there similarities between us? In terms of hair, yes, unfortunately for both of us! "I admire him a lot, he was an idol as a player.
"He leaves in a similar way to Luis Enrique, who won many titles with Barcelona and played spectacular football."
Guardiola also refused to address Yaya Toure’s claims of him having a problem with African players and being a racist.
"I won't comment on Toure's words," he said bluntly. "I have nothing to say about Toure."
The former Bayern Munich coach also took time to explain what he feels about Leroy Sane’s exclusion from Germany’s final 23-man squad going to the World Cup. He refused to criticise Joachim Low but reserved praise for an impressive development of Leroy Sane this season at the Etihad Stadium.
"I respect the German coach a lot and he has made a decision based on what he sees and believes is best," he said. "He can rest now and hopefully come back and play as well as he did last season."
