Barcelona travel to England ahead of their Champions League quarter-final first leg with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday. Ernesto Valverde has opted to take almost his entire squad to the north west of England. Even Jean-Clair Todibo is involved, despite not being included in Barcelona's Champions League squad.
Thomas Vermaelen will stay in Spain to sort out a niggling injury but Ousmane Dembele has been included in the squad by Valverde. The French international tore his hamstring during the Blaugrana's 5-1 win over Lyon in the previous round and wasn't expected to be involved against the Red Devils. Dembele is traveling with the squad but hasn't received medical clearance to play on Wednesday and Valverde doesn't run to risk him.
The squad in full: Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Jasper Cillessen, Inaki Pena, Nelson Semedo, Gerard Pique, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Jean-Clair Todibo, Philippe Coutinho, Arthur, Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembele, Malcom, Clement Lenglet, Jeison Murillo, Jordi Alba, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Sergi Roberto, Arturo Vidal, Samuel Umtiti and Carles Alena.
The squad will fly to England on Tuesday morning before facing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side on Wednesday night. Italian Gianluca Rocchi will take charge while Massimiliano Irrati is on VAR duty.
In the last training session before they left for Manchester, there were clips of Dembele's brilliance in training even though he has not been pass fit.
