Piatek holds a record Messi and Ronaldo will NEVER achieve in their football career

7 months ago  Raphael   Sport News

It has been a wonderful goalscoring season for both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo especially for the former as he has been the source of goals for Barcelona in all competitions scoring 43 goals in all competitions. Ronaldo, on the other hand, has scored just 23 goals in all competitions for Juventus this season.
Both players are known for breaking old records likewise setting new ones but there is a particular player who has set a new record both players can never break in their football career.
The player is Krzysztof Piątek, the Polish striker was signed by AC Milan in the winter transfer window from fellow Serie A rivals Genoa for a reported fee of €35 million. He was signed as a replacement for Gonzalo Higuaín, who ended his loan move at the club to join Chelsea in January. Since the 23-year old striker joined the Rossoneri, he has gone on to be one of their most important players and has also led the charge for Milan's return to the UEFA Champions League.
Piatek now holds a record of being the highest goalscorer for two clubs in just one season a record that is impossible for both Messi and Ronaldo to break bearing in mind that they are both edging closer to retirement and it will be hard for both legends to play two clubs in a space of a year.
The Polish striker now holds a stunning record our preferred Greatest player of all time footballers (Messi, Ronaldo) can never break. Since his transfer move in January, Piatek remains Genoa highest goalscorer this season with 19 goals in all competitions the closest player to him only has 4 goals while in AC Milan even for the fact that he has only played for three months the Poland international stands tall in top spot of the log as the European giants highest goalscorer this season with 10 goals in all competitions.
Piątek made his debut for Milan on 26 January, in a goalless home draw against Napoli, as a 71st-minute substitute for Patrick Cutrone. Three days later against the same opponents also at San Siro, he scored both goals in a 2–0 win in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, and was given a standing ovation when he made way for Cutrone.
He was voted as the team's Most Valuable Player in the match and best footballer in the world by the fans. On 3 February 2019, Piątek scored his first league goal away to Roma, which ended 1–1.
He then scored three goals in the next two consecutive matches: one against Cagliari Calcio and two against Atalanta, making him the fastest player to score six goals for the club in all competitions, overtaking club legend Nils Liedholm. He also became the first Milan player to score in his first three starts in the league since Mario Balotelli in 2013.
The 23-year-old striker is in pole position to win the Capocannoniere as he currently has 21 goals and he is second on the log to Fabio Quagliarella who is also on the same goals but his 7 assists lift him above the Polish striker.
