It has been over a week, but Barcelona centre-back Gerard Pique still hasn't entirely got over his side's historic comeback against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Champions League effort was so emotionally and physically draining that the Blaugrana dropped points against Deportivo in a 2-1 loss, so the defender insists the Catalan club will have to be remain wary the rest of the season if the memorable match is to mean something even larger.
"Sergio Ramos was right, winning 6-1 was historic, and like winning the Champions League," Pique said.
"The controversy doesn't bother me and I enjoyed it like a kid."It was a perfect night and we have lived moments that fathers and sons will remember forever.
"As to the club's main objective, Pique admitted that a treble was on their mind but that they'll take it one match at a time.
"If we set the treble as our goal every year, we will burn out," he continued. "I am confident we can win a title or two."
The defender also shared his views on former coach Pep Guardiola being knocked out of European competition at the hands of Monaco."There are some people that like Pep Guardiola a lot and others not so much," Pique added.
"For me he is a great coach and you can't always win. "We should value the work he does.
"Juan Carlos Unzue could become the next Blaugrana boss, and the defender insists that he is qualified for the position."Unzue has been at the club for many years, not just under Luis Enrique, but Guardiola too," he concluded. "I'm sure he'd be a good candidate."
