Paris Saint-Germain are preparing for life without Adrien Rabiot, but the management of the club is seemingly not happy with the way his likely future club is dealing with the situation. Sporting director Antero Henrique spoke to Radio Montecarlo about the issue.
"We are always surprised by clubs that do not respect the rules. I am very surprised. He said he received an offer this summer, before the market closed, on August 29 at eight." "This is simple, it means that Barcelona already reached an agreement with Rabiot before coming to speak with us. Their proposal was ridiculous. A disrespectful offer for a top player like Rabiot," he said.
Rabiot's mother and agent's recent comments suggest that the Frenchman's decision to leave PSG is final, leaving him free to negotiate with other clubs from January.
"(The decision to leave) is final because the current situation, as everyone can see, has deteriorated completely," said Veronique Rabiot, speaking to RTL.
Veronique Rabiot also confirmed that her son does not have an agreement in place with another club: "I have always respected the rules as everyone knows. We do not have the right to speak with another club before 1 January and we will not do so before that date," she said.
PSG manager Thomas Tuchel said on Monday that he would not rule out the departure of Rabiot in the January window.
