Paris Saint Germain continue their spending spree as they added another sensational youth player Thilo Kehrer to their ranks. The 21-year old defender joins the Ligue 1 champions from German side Schalke 04 for a reported fee of 37m euros (£33m).

The young defender who has four goals in 59 appearances in all competitions for Schalke signed on a five-year deal for Thomas Tuchel’s led side.

"Everyone in Europe knows how strong and exciting the Paris St-Germain project is," said Kehrer.

"I couldn't think of a better club for me to continue my progression and reach my objectives."

Kehrer made his Bundesliga debut for Schalke in 2016 and was part of the Germany under-21 team that won the European Championship in 2017.
