Real Madrid handed triple injury boost

3 months ago  Raphael   Sport News

A double-header with Sevilla is on the horizon for Real Madrid this week and Sergio Ramos was back in full training on Monday morning having sat out the opening matches of 2017.
The defender remains a doubt for the Copa del Rey second leg on Thursday but is making good progress in his injury comeback ahead of flying to Zurich for the FIFA awards ceremony tonight.
Meanwhile, Mateo Kovacic and Lucas Vazquez took part in training on the Valdebebas pitches as part of their own recovery programmes and while the duo will miss the first trip to Andalusia, the weekend LaLiga clash has not been ruled out.
Isco sat out the session on Monday with a knock but is expected to return to action without further delay, although the same cannot be said for Pepe and Gareth Bale, who were also absent in the Spanish capital.
