Real Madrid legend, Clarence Seedorf who is currently the head coach of Cameroon male National team has made a statement that will entice Nigerian football fans after Super Eagles defeated his side 3-2 in the round of 16 last week Saturday.
Super Eagles dumped the defending champions out of the competition who were leading 2-1 in the first 45 minutes but could not withstand the resolute Eagles in the second half as two goals from Odion Ighalo and another strike from Alex Iwobi ensured the defending champions would be heading home.
The AC Milan former midfielder has tipped Super Eagles to go all the way and win the title in Egypt, a statement that will go down well with Nigerians. He said if the Gernot Rohr's men can maintain the same level of mentality just like they did against the Indomitable Lions, it would be hard for any side in the competition to stop them.

In the other news, Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel has resumed training ahead of Nigeria’s quarterfinal tie against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa. According to report in Brila, Mikel, who cropped a knee injury against Madagascar in the group stage was involved in a light training during their recovery session on Sunday, July 7, at Helnan Palestine hotel.
