Real Madrid caretaker coach Santiago Solari included club captain Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema in Los Blancos' squad to face Melilla in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday evening while resting several regulars.
Bale, Isco, Kroos and Modric were all given a break and remain in Madrid while Carvajal, Marcelo, Varane, Mariano and Vellejo are all missing through injury.
Solari has called up De la Fuente, Javi Sanchez, Feuillassier and Cristo from the youth team.
Keylor Navas is expected to start for Real Madrid at the Alvarez Claro de Melilla on Wednesday night.  The Copa del Rey returns, and with it comes rotation for Santiago Solari.
A plague of injuries has forced a defensive reshuffle, and Vinicius Junior is expected to get his first start up front.
In goal, Navas gets his opportunity again, but what it means is that, despite the arrival of Solari, Thibaut Courtois should be chosen to play the LaLiga Santander and Champions League games.
It leaves the Costa Rican the 'minor' consolation of the domestic cup tournament.
