Real Madrid are prepared to offer Chelsea £100m and Gareth Bale in order to prise Eden Hazard away from Stamford Bridge, claims The Daily Express.

Zinedine Zidane’s side have been heavily linked with a move to Hazard in the past and are expected to firm up their interest in the summer.

Chelsea hope Hazard will sign a new deal before the end of the season in order to end Madrid’s pursuit but the Belgium international is yet to agree new terms.

Their Spanish counterparts are now preparing a blockbuster offer for Antonio Conte’s side that will include Bale returning to the Premier League.

Bale has struggled to stay fit for prolonged periods in recent seasons and could be sacrificed at the end of the season as Madrid president looks to ring wholesale changes to the squad. 

The Wales international has only managed nine league starts this season but has still weighed in with six goals and one assist.

Hazard, meanwhile, has scored 11 goals and registered two assists in 19 league starts for Chelsea, while only two Premier League players have garnered a higher WhoScored rating than the Belgian (7.85) this term.
