Real Madrid Ready To Gamble With Wenger, Big Sam Keen On Sakho

Arsene Wenger might be given a place to continue his career if he chooses to call it quit at Arsenal. The Arsenal boss has been under pressure for a long time with some poor run of results with many calling for the Frenchman to step down. Reports suggest Florentino Perez has an eye on what is going on at Arsenal and sees Wenger as a suitable replacement should Zinedine Zidane be axed at the end of the season. Los Blancos are on their way to a league title and are still in Europe but a turn in form could see trigger-happy Perez fire Zidane.

Perez has long been a fan of Wenger and attempted to bring the Gunners' boss in the past.
But that could change if he leaves the club this summer, with Wenger already admitting he is not ready to retire just yet.  Crystal Palace will make a concerted effort to sign loanee Mamadou Sakho this summer, but his stellar performances for the club could price them out of the market. Liverpool will look to sell the France international in the off-season, a fact Sam Allardyce acknowledged post-match. But interest from Southampton and Italian clubs could push the asking price for the in-form central defender towards £25million.

Sakho has won all four of his games since joining the south Londonders, an even more remarkable statistic when you consider that he didn't play for the best part of a year after a doping ban and then being blacklisted by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea and Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard, both 26, are top targets for Spanish giants Real Madrid, who are willing to spend £100m over the summer.
