According to BBC Sports, Real Madrid have reported Inter Milan to Fifa over an alleged illegal approach for midfielder Luka Modric.
Inter Milan has recently shown a strong interest in the 32- year old midfielder who put up a stellar performance at the World Cup in Russia in which he was rewarded as the Best player in the tournament.
The Croat is still contracted with the Los Blancos and has a whooping sum of 750 million euro (£671m) as his release clause, an amount the club’s president Florentino Perez said any club that wants the player will have to pay.
Inter are back in Champions League and are hoping to strengthen their squad with acquisition of Modric, but as it stands the Nerazzurri are racing against time as the Serie A transfer windows closes tonight.
