real madrid three goals away from making history

3 weeks ago  Raphael

Only three players on Real Madrid's squad - Casemiro, Fabio Coentrao, and Mateo Kovacic- haven't scored a goal this season, with the rest of Zinedine Zidane's players having netted at least on one occasion.
In other words, 18 first team players have found the back of the net, quite the feat even for a club of Real Madrid's stature.
No longer as reliant on BBC as much as before, the number of goalscorers has been spread out, thereby reducing the burden on the strikers.
Last season, Real almost achieved the feat, with only Raphael Varane and Alvaro Arbeloa not scoring.
In fact, this time around, the three players left have already scored for Zidane - Casemiro last season in LaLiga against Las Palmas, Kovacic against Malmo in the Champions League, and Coentrao back in 2012/13 against Espanyol.
With a significant part of this season remaining, Zidane's squad has a good chance of making history, with the entire squad scoring in the course of a campaign for the first time in club history.
