According to reports in Italy, Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen is set to join Italian Serie A giants with the Lille striker reportedly agreeing on a deal with Napoli.
Osimhen has been linked with several clubs in Europe, with the likes of AC Milan, Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham all interested in him, but the young striker has opted for a move to Serie A according to reports.
Italian reputable journalist Alfredo Pedullà via Sempremilan, claimed that Napoli have taken the lead in the race to sign the Nigerian international after a deal was agreed between both parties.
According to reports, the deal that will take Osimhen to Napoli is worth a whooping sum of ₦26 billion (€60m) but the Serie A giants are still hoping that Lille can reduce the amount after they had reached agreement with the player himself.
Osimhen was one of the top performers in France as he scored 18 goals and provided six assists in 38 appearances for Lille in his first season which ended early due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
The Super Eagles striker is currently in Nigeria for the burial of his father.
