The Brazilian and Barcelona legend Rivaldo granted an interview with Globoesporte and he had is say concerning his countryman situation.

Rivaldo believes that Neymar will have to leave Paris Saint-Germain if he wants to win a Ballon d'Or. The talent is there, Rivaldo has explained, but he needs to change setting in order to fully demonstrate it.

"I have already said that Neymar can be the best player in the world, but I think that if he stays at PSG he won't achieve that," the retired footballer explained in an interview with Globoesporte.

"He has to leave PSG.  ”Ruling out Barcelona because of what happened there, and according to the information that I've heard from close people, I think he has a chance of going to Real Madrid, given all I have heard recently. "And I think that he could indeed become the best in the world there."

Neymar has long been linked with a move away from PSG, who he joined last summer for a world-record fee of 222 million euros.
