7 months ago  Raphael   Sport News

Zidane can certainly trust the portuguese acce, Ronaldo returned to Real Madrid's starting line-up on Wednesday and he equalled his previous best streak of consecutive scoring matches with the club.

His late backheel saved the club's blushes after Inaki Williams gave Athletic Club a first half lead at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

This goal meant the former Manchester United forward had scored in his twelfth successive match, in which time period he has found the net 22 times.

Wednesday's goal was his 24th in LaLiga this campaign, this leaves him just five behind Lionel Messi in the Pichichi race and, with five matches left to play, he's on pace to keep catching the Argentine.

Ronaldo's scoring streak included strikes against the following teams: Real Sociedad (three), PSG (two), Real Betis (one), Deportivo Alaves (two), Getafe (two), PSG (one), Eibar (two), Girona (four), Juventus (two), Atletico Madrid (one), Juventus (one) and Athletic Club (one).
