Ronaldo to return to Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected back at the Santiago Bernabeu next year as Real Madrid set to honour the new Juventus signing.

The Portuguese talisman represented the los blancos for nine incredible seasons before opting to join the Italian giants this summer for fee around the region of 105 million euros.

Madrid are hoping to honour their former player who happen to be one of their greatest player if not their greatest player all time whilst replacing his goals could prove almost impossible for Los Blancos, there is no bitterness at the departure by inviting as Juventus will be invited for Bernabeu Trophy just like they did for Raul Gonzalez when his Saudi Arabian team Al Sadd were invited for the tournament in 2013.

The Bernabeu Trophy is a traditional pre-season friendly organised by Real Madrid, the organisers were hoping to get the Bianconeri for this year’s edition but due to the time-frame before the new season and how far in advance these matches need to be arranged, Juventus simply couldn't be the opponents in 2018.

Real Madrid will take on AC Milan on August 11 for this season’s edition and have planned the 2019 edition as a tribute to CR7.
