Ahead of Sunday night's clash against Real Madrid, Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli emphasised the importance of Los Blancos' visit in their LaLiga pursuit, rather than for any other circumstances.
The Argentine tactician is targeting victory over Real at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and is encouraging his fans to back the team after the controversies surrounding Sergio Ramos from Thursday night's Copa del Rey draw.
"The message for our fans is always the same, that they are with us and will encourage us to beat Real Madrid," he told reporters.
"Do not look at what's going on in the stands, only at the team.
"We are focussing only on the game and are very motivated after what happened on Thursday."
With comparisons to the 3-3 draw inevitable, Sampaoli will be most worried by the fact that Sevilla squandered a two-goal lead in the last 10 minutes.
"It's difficult for me to think that it's going to be a match like Thursday's one," the coach added. "This will be a much more demanding game for us.
"If the team play like it did on Thursday, we will be very competitive and continue to challenge at the top of LaLiga.
"A victory tomorrow will be an important step. In the Copa del Rey match we left a clear message: beating Sevilla is very difficult."
