Chile forward Alexis Sanchez has been named Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month for December, finishing ahead of Mesut Ozil and Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi. This was confirmed on Arsenal's official website on Tuesday. It is Sanchez's third Vitality Player of the Month award this season after emerging tops in September and November.
The former Barcelona player who was in sensational form, scoring a brilliant hat trick against West Ham United and firing home a free kick against Everton, came first with 80.4 per cent of the votes. In second place is Ozil who scored 7.1 per cent, after capping a wonderful December period with goals against West Ham and Stoke City.
Iwobi who scored in the UEFA Champions League against FC Basel and four days later was on target in the league against Stoke, got 6.5 per cent of the votes to finish in third position.
