Santi Cazorla has ended his time at Arsenal with the English club officially announcing his departure from the Gunners. After six years in an Arsenal shirt, in which almost two of those years saw him forced off the field due to long-term injuries, the Asturian midfielder has finally concluded his course at the Emirates Stadium.
The club have made his departure official, wishing the footballer luck in his next adventure. At 33, Cazorla, who has not played a single official game since October 2016, ends his career in the Premier League and his future remains a mystery.
"I still have a lot left, because, after 18 months, everything has to happen at the right time, but the sensations are getting better and I feel optimistic about the future," he said a few months ago.
According to Movistar Plus, Cazorla is expected to start his pre-season this summer with LaLiga club Villarreal.
