Manchester City and Argentine striker Sergio Aguero has put pen to paper to sign a one year contract extension with the Cityzens which will keep him at the club up until 2021.
The Argentine striker joined Manchester City from Spanish La liga side Atletico Madrid in 2011 for a deal worth £38m.
The former Rojiblancos player has played a major role in turning the blue side of Manchester to a world class team in recent years has they have enjoyed a major success since his arrival, winning three English Premier Leagues and three EFL cups.
Since his arrival he has gone on to be a major player for the team and has gone on to be all time highest goal scorer for Manchester City with 204 goals including the evergreen injury time winner against QPR in 2012 to seal their first title in over forty years.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said Sergio Aguero returned for this season in the best condition he had seen the forward in.
"Since I've been here, I've never seen him like this," he said. "The spirit since he came back from the holidays after the World Cup... he is in incredible condition."
Other players like Kevin De Bruyne, Fernandinho, David Silva and Nicolas Otamendi have all signed new long-term contracts in recent months.
