Sevilla to rebuff Juventus and Chelsea's N'Zonzi interest in January

2 weeks from now  Raphael   Sport News

A potential deal taking Steven N'Zonzi to Juventus or Chelsea in the January transfer window will struggle to get off the ground with Sevilla unwilling to do a deal.
Italian media have reported en masse of the Old Lady's continued desire to sign the Frenchman via his 30 million euro release clause, but the Rojiblancos are not too worried about immediately losing a man who's become key to Jorge Sampaoli's midfield this season.
Primarily, Juve are considered unable to stump up the cash in one single payment, as N'Zonzi's contract stipulates, preferring to pay two 15m euro instalments, which Sevilla will refuse.
Having played in the Champions League in 2016/17, the Frenchman is also cup-tied for the Italian club in Europe, making a summer deal far more likely.
With N'Zonzi's Sevilla contract up in 2019, the Andalusians will seek to renew his deal at the end of the season, whereby the player may find himself with far more power in potentially forcing a move to Serie A or the Premier League.
Along with Chelsea, Manchester City and Barcelona are said to be closely following the midfielder, who could find his head being turned by some big money offers in the summer.
A potential deal may unfold in a similar manner to Grzegorz Krychowiak's Paris Saint-Germain switch, with Sevilla at least seeking to upgrade N'Zonzi's release clause in the event of his exit.
