Shakespeare: Atletico are more than Griezmann, they're a team

Leicester City take on Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday evening and new coach Craig Shakespeare is worried about all 11 Rojiblanco players, not just Antoine Griezmann.
The Englishman promised to show Diego Simeone's side some respect, but reiterated that the Foxes are not there just to make up the numbers.
"You can speak about one player, but Atletico are more than [Griezmann], as they are a team," he said at his pre-match press conference."We will show them the respect they deserve.
"Their style is well documented and they press high, but it is about what we do tomorrow night. "We're aware of Atletico's strengths but we're also aware of our own strengths.
"These players have earned their opportunity and we intend to keep that going tomorrow night."
The coach also discussed the fact that he has four players - Robert Huth, Wilfred Ndidi, Jamie Vardy and Islam Slimani - one booking away from a suspension, stressing that they'll be reminded not to get carried away by the atmosphere.
"We are very well disciplined as a team," he said."But yes, the players will be reminded about their responsibilities and to not get any stupid cards."
Shakespeare also analysed the comparisons that have been made between Leicester and the Champions League runners-up and was pleased his side is being held in such high esteem.
"I think that is a huge compliment to be compared to Atletico," reporters were told.
"Their team ethic is one of strength, like ours, so I take it as a compliment."
Finally, he addressed his predecessor Claudio Ranieri's Monday night interview in which he discussed his Leicester exit, telling those present that he has never had any issue with the Italian and ex-Atleti coach.
