Shongwe on the hunt for a club

Outgoing Bidvest Wits winger Jabulani Shongwe says that whilst he remains unsure where his future lies he will pick a club where his opportunities will not be limited. It was revealed on Thursday that the Clever Boys had decided against exerciing the one-year option on the 27-year-old's contract. Shongwe, who did not feature in league games for the Absa Premiership champions this season, is now free to join the club of his choosing. There is reported interest from top sides such as Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United for the Emalahleni born star, although he is yet to make a decision. "At this stage I don't know where I'm going," Shongwe tells KickOff.com. "It might be Polokwane City or any other team, but it must be a team where there is life. Next season I will be playing where there is life."
