For the first time in his career, Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has been named as the IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics) coach of the year.
The Argentinian is currently on his holidays in Buenos Aires and is preparing to head back to Madrid, but this is a nice Christmas gift for the 46-year-old.
Simeone was able to beat some big names to the award, including Real Madrid's Zinedine Zidane and Leicester City's Claudio Ranieri, who both had excellent years at their clubs.
